Rest assured the guild is alive and kicking, we just don't show it :)
Icecrown Citadel has a new king; Glexx!
04. March, 2010 by Hezekiah
Lich King is down :D After a whole night of wipes with like 3 people in the raid who were recruited right before the raid, pretty much, we downed him. One guy was in 245 Coliseum gear, what the hell? Anyway really good job on the kill, and we are looking forward to hard modes. I think it's horde first on KT. We got the horde 2nd 10man kill a while ago, and we have started clearing that in hard mode as well, of course!
Who needs saronite bombs?! We had the awesome power of flying protection warriors! WATCH OUT, POWER RANGERS!
As a side note, those rankings on worldoflogs.com are awesome! I think we hold a few top 5 positions :)
Ready for Icecrown Citadel
13. December, 2009 by Hezekiah
Finally we killed Anub'arak on 25man heroic. You can make all sorts of excuses "lol new specs", "3.3 lawl", etc., but the fact is we had him on 6% the week before and the reason we didn't kill him sooner was just lack of healers on sunday raids, lack of tanks because of exams, etc. Lots of legitimate excuses :P Anyway, he's dead now and it was an epic kill, also known as a ghetto kill! Fun times!
On a sidenote we had the horde first clear of the first 4 bosses in Icecrown Citadel with no practice beforehand. I didn't even know the tactics for the fights, which I usually do. Oneshot the first boss but after that we wiped continously because it was lagging like crazy. Really annoying, Blizzard.
Ah, and we also got horde first Algalon (realm 2nd?) some time ago :)
I Choose You, Yogg-Saron
10. May, 2009 by Hezekiah
So, finally, we got a full raid for Yogg-Saron (after 2 failed raid evenings where we didn't have enough ><), and we killed Yogg-Saron! :) Apparently it's a server 2nd kill on 25man. I think we got the server 2nd on 10man as well? So that's quite fitting! Good job Camels :) I must say it's a very anticlimactic fight with phase 3, but it's important to not lose your cool there and keep it safe and steady.
Oh and for all of you who think we spent every waking moment in there, you clearly have no idea about our raiding schedule, which is 3 days per week, 19-24. If we're inside at other times, it's for 10mans or because we're having a picnic.
And after we downed Yogg-Saron we figured we'd just end the evening on another progress note and killed Iron Council with Runemaster last. It's not an epic feat but we did manage to do it in just a few attempts so good job there guys :)
Thanks for an awesome raid and now it's time to start the real hard modes!
Naxxramas cleared, finally
30. November, 2008 by Hezekiah
Tonight we finally cleared Naxxramas on heroic (obviously we cleared it many times on normal). First horde guild on Kul Tiras to do so, apparently. The problem so far has been that we were lacking 7 healers. 2 rerolled Death Knights, 2 decided to respec as DPS for WotLK, 1 quit, and 2 are missing in action. So then we had to recruit some more, and that takes time with the limited playerbase on Kul Tiras :)
But now we did it. Good job Camels!
Afterwards we went to Malygos and practiced a bit, and got him to phase 3, then we decided to stop so people could go practice drakeriding with the daily quest instead.
(Yes, we've killed Sartharion too. He was so easy we didn't even remember to screenshot it :p)

Bronze medal for Behind my Camel!
26. October, 2008 by Hezekiah
On wednesday (22. october), we killed Eredar Twins and M'uru, I was just indisposed so I could not update the site with the news. I can imagine these fights were very intensive indeed pre-3.0. We could pretty much zerg them down but still had to apply some of the tactics. Eredar Twins were killed in the reverse order. Grats guys on a job well done!
I returned home last night and we decided to jump on Kil'jaeden today, killing him after 3.5 hours of intense wipes in phase 4-5. This fight must've been almost impossible pre-3.0, I can't imagine doing this with 3 million more hitpoints to shave off and less raid DPS output. The whole guild sends their respects to anyone who managed such a feat.
So now all that is left to say is thank you to all the members of Behind my Camel for running through all the Burning Crusade content with me and the other officers and a job well done indeed. We'll see you all in WotLK!
What temple?
11. June, 2008 by Hezekiah
After clearing up to Illidan yesterday on a excellent raid we continued today, prepared and well motivated, and we nuked down the big boss, Illidan Stormrage, on our 3rd attempt. Great work everyone, and congratulations on clearing the tier 6 content!
Shield for me and the imba trinket for Msdynamite :)
Next stop; Sunwell!
Defiler's End
06. April, 2008 by Hezekiah
It is done. Behind my Camel took one final ride down Mt. Hyjal lane and broke all the speed limits, ending the trip with an amazing kill of Archimonde the Defiler.
Thank yous to the whole guild for all the wipes and happy times, all the frustration and anger, it was great. He's dead!
Next exit: Black Temple (population: 9)
Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider hides behind the camels!
17. March, 2008 by Hezekiah
We've done it, Behind my Camel has cleared the Tier 5 content! Congratulations to everyone! Next stop; Tier 6! Watch out, Illidan :D After our rather sour 3% wipe on Sunday, we went back to The Eye this evening and killed him after 3 attempts or so, with only a few deaths, mostly due to unlucky circumstances. Good, clean work by the Cameleers!
Big thanks and props to the whole guild on a job well done!
Lady Vashj!

The whore is dead. After nights and nights of wiping and perfecting our strategy, tuning our setup and metric tons of frustration, she is dead. Congratulations to the whole guild on a job well done!
After she died we still had a good 2 hours left of the raid, so we ventured into Tempest Keep and cleared the Kael'thas trash with no problems and practiced on him for a bit. Got to phase 3 easily, but stopped there. Hopefully we'll see some more action on him soon!
